An exceptional journey : Unparalleled service and outstanding guides

Spent half of my adult life travelling and particularly working abroad; visited 65 countries; lived & worked for US Govt & private companies in 6; worked locally in another 20-25. My career included running 5 banks, diplomatic service in less developed countries, and finally a senior advisor to wealthy global families.

Here is my evaluation of your service. Overall on a range of 1-10, I would give you a 10+. You are highly knowledgeable and utilize the best cultural, historical and overall tourist services in the areas visited on our earlier trip to Brittany, this latest one to Sarlat-Cahors-Carcasonne, and the Dordogne, Lot and Midi-Canal areas. You are sensitive to demanding tourists and handle their concerns with consummate skill. You did this with my "nervous Nelly" overly critical reactions during our visit. You recognize your customers' worries, while calming them down. You are sincerely dedicated to giving your clients the best trip possible.

Best of all are the simply wonderful guides you chose for us, first in Brittany with Samuel last year, and recently with Sandra & Olivia. Olivia is a committed, lovely young woman who knows her area and cares about her clients. You would thank God if Olivia married one of your sons. Sandra at 57 is like you:on a 1-10 scale she ranks 10+. My wife experienced a serious tooth infection in Sarlat. Within one hour of being informed, Sandra had her in a senior local dentist's office receiving treatment that got us through the trip. Formidable! She is a tour de force !

Finally hotels. The best service was in Sarlat-the Plaza Madeline where young women do a good job. The Hotel de la Cite in Carcassonne is beautiful, and has a lively barman and many dedicated young service people. It is not particularly well managed, but is acceptable and tries hard.
